I can not wait to get my hands on this baby. I only hope it lives up to the hype that I have read. Only time will tell. Your thoughts?

Killzone 2 GOTY if not the best first person shooter game every made , i really cannot wait to get my hands on this one

The multi player looks so sick. The badge system could be interesting. To bad you have to play all the way through the single player campaign to unlock them all.

i don't think it is bad , i always go threw the single player mode of the game before going online

I try to but it's just hard knowing the multi player is there calling out to be played. lol

Well, these guys couldn't pull things together last time, and a lot of it was to do with the technology of the time. But with an obscene development cycle, probably unlimited resources, and the experience under their belt, maybe they can make something really killer app. A long dev cycle with all the resources in the world tends to make things easier on a team.
The game itself is absolutely beautiful, and I wasn't a big fan of the art style last time, but it's a lot better with much cleaner and more detailed graphics. The actual gunplay looks amazing! I mean I was blown away when I looked at how smooth and satisfying it looks. I won't be surprised when the 8's and 9's start rolling onto Gamerankings. It doesn't need to be the "Halo Killer" since that's silly on just about every level. No, it just needs to be what it is, and I think people who actually play it, will appreciate that fact.

Suggestion for everyone: STOP HYPING THE GOD DAMNED GAME!
Anybody remembers how Liar and Star Wars: Force Unleashed were hyped as hell and ended up being hated by everyone? exactly. stop it. You'll be let down by the end.
And honestly, I don't see what's so special about it. I'll end up liking it, I'll tell you that. But I don't see anything special..

Force Unleashed was hated? I think not! I love that game! The demo still gives me laughs. "I'll just bend this out a little bit... here comes the tie fighter! BAM!"
and I really don't see nothing that special about it either. Killzone was somewhat cool, I guess. and like I said it looks like a darker themed COD4. (Which is actually cool, don't get me wrong.) But it doesn't seem to have a WOW factor. Show me something that'll sell me!

The minority of people liked Force Unleashed actually.. many people didn't like it much. It's one of these games where the idiots keep saying it'll be the best game ever but when it comes out, their opinion is complete 180..
And I feel the same thing will happen to Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5 even though Resident Evil 5 does look amazing.

KZ2 looks great, but the hype is out of control for this game. "Best game of all time" YOU HAVENT PLAYED IT! Maybe play it first? huh. Sorry for being so snappy, but I have seen around 100 KZ2 posts from diffrent forums within the last day.
