| I know a lot of people like post count cause its fun for ranking and what not but I think that we all should know whats considered spam and whats not, I dont think turning off a post count is necessary. | |

| I like that idea rey (or rcy, it's hard to read with this font). That would certainly make everything more organized.
I also agree that post count should be disabled in the offtopic sections. As I mentioned before in the first thread there, that section is usually the toughest to moderate. People just spam there and then use "but it's offtopic" as an excuse, while they just want to raise their postcount so they look cool. If you disable postcount in that section, then only "useful" spam will go there. And not just random things that don't even make sense just to make a totally insignificant number grow.
If people really want a high post count so they look cool, they can do so by helping people and making useful posts, surely it's a lot more fun to get your postcount like that as well?! | |
