Your Dream Game

Well My game idea would be pretty good its gta style (freeroaming) sandbox game but it is an MMORPG


-Story
Its a zombie apocalypse and you have to do only one thing. Survive.

-Character
Basically you create a custom character and choose a job class and there would be many different job classes such as doctors or police officers many different variations like mechanics could fix cars and drive them to destinations(Cars would eventually break down if too many zombies are hit) and certain job classes could offer services like doctors can heal playera for alot more HP than a player can heal himself (say a player uses pain killers and gains 20HP if a doctor heals him he will gain 40HP)and police officers can be payed for protection and certain jobs have better luck finding items like lawyers are a little better at finding money

-Gameplay
Basically there would be a city and on the outskirts of town would be the outpost now the outpost can be attacked by zombies and if so players in the party (up to 12 players a party) have to work together to stop it. There are 3 different areas to protect the outpost from the Rooftops the underground parking lot and the main gate. if zombies break in the main lobby where all players (not just ones) in your party are seen becomes infected until players can rebuild the main gate's barricade and barricade the underground parking lot and the roof. Players can also open up shops if they pay a certain amount of money (probably 5000$) and each shop sells items collected on missions and their will be a search menu that will be extremely advanced so when you search for something you get a list of options from cheapest to highest price. or lowest quality weapon to highest.and players will each have their own individual rooms they can decorate any way they want and store items, money and weapons and any other things, (if a shop upgrade is purchased then the room will expand and an extra room will be added for the shop and everyone can enter your room to buy stuff or just admire the decorations. It turns from daylight to nightime every half hour. Zombies are stronger at night.

-City
To get money you have to go into the city and all buildings are opened. money is found by killing zombies the harder the zombie the more money given. there will be many special areas like a casino and a pool hall, bowling alley an alot more places for recreation scattered around the city. there will also be the official game shops where weapons and health can be bought (but the stronger meds and weps have to be found or bought in a shop) items not wanted can be sold in the shops and there will be many different shops such as weapon shop, (the hospital will sell meds), clothes shop, decorating shops(for rooms) and weapon upgrade shop.

-Quickjump Menu
What the quickjump menu does is if you have been to a special area such as the casino or the bowling alley instead of having to fight through to get there you can just the menu to jump to that area without having to fight zombies

-Camera
you are able to choose between 1st and 3rd person all depends on your liking

-Weapons
There will be a large assortment of weapons (melee, handguns,sub-machine guns,shotguns,rifles,longrange rifles,and normal machine guns, explosives (and mounted turrets at main gate) There will be many weapons in each class (i forgot to mention that Ammo can be found or bought at player shops and official shops) Weapons can also be upgraded to have alot of different things like bigger ammo clip or laser sight, many different things. The more upgrades the more the weapon is worth but a weapon can be damaged if upgrade fails and cannot be used anymore so upgrade at your own risk.

-Leveling up
When a player levels up then his stats are increased all players start off with only a melee weapon and cannot use a gun until stats reach a certain point. each gun requires a higher stat (say you had a glock and wanted to upgrade to a deagle you would need to level up until you reach the stat requirement) also certain body armor requires a certain stat level (like say you had a total of 19 in body armor but you wanted a new one that required 22 in body armor you need to level up) Armors can also be upgrade and attachments can be added to them

-Zombies
Their are the normal class zombies then their are the crawling zombies(No Legs). The Runners (outrun you and are deadly if not killed quickly), then the hunter(l4d Zombie). There is the tank(l4d zombie), The Dog zombie(mutated dog zombie extremely fast),The Child zombie(Can let out a screech that will stun players), Constrictor(l4d's smoker), The Blind zombie(this zombie is blind and use smell and sound to locate players and can spit liquid which completely blinds a player temporarily and attracts zombies) The Boomer(l4d Zombie) The Silent Killer(This zombie can crawl on ceilings and follow a player without letting a sound out)

-Death
If you die you can wait for a doctor in your party to revive you or respawn but if you respawn all money being carried is lost. But if other players have not looted your body you can go back and get your money

-Other
Players can trade with each other (items,ammo, etc.) In the casino rewards can be won but casino rewards CANNOT be traded. There are things called Zombie rush that will happen at a random time once every 3 hours everyday where zombies begin rushing like crazy it only last for 10 minutes and players must barricade themselves in a building. Players can build barricades. only certain job classes can use certain items

I have none. xp so we'll settle for these steps:

- Scientist tries to create new intelligent skillfull life form, Hero is born.
- Scientist tries it again, Scientist created a stronger life form.
- Scientist wins an award.
- Scientist goes mad... for.. some.. reason..
- Scientist creates MANY life forms to try take over the world.
- Hero must stop him.

Gameplay

hm.. I'm thinking new Ninja Gaiden/Devil May Cry gameplay + MegaMan basics (defeat boss, get weapon) + base most of the game on exploring. That always sounded epic to me.

That pretty much somes it up.

-Story: NASA sends a group of elite marines to to a massive meteor headed towards earth. The marines must blow the meteor out of the sky, but they cannot blow it up unless they get to the center of the meteor. Once they get to the meteor, they find a alien species that befriends them, only to attack them later that week. One marine survived the attack. You are that marine.

-Weapons: MK. 48 Magnum, Chainsaw, M4A1 Carbine, Wall-penetrating Sniper rifle, Sawed off shotgun, M16, Chaingun, and many more.

-Enemies: An alien life form that will attack anything that moves. They feed of your energy, so when your near a large group of them, you die faster, and run slower.

-Character: An elite marine, that you create. You will have the ability to add things to your character as you level up. (Armors, ammo packs, better guns, gun add-ons, ect.)

-Leveling-up: You get XP for each enemy you kill. 20 XP for headshots, 10 XP for a body shot. 50 XP for a melee kill. You start out as a Private, and when you reach the Elite rank(final rank) You have the chance to start over at private, but with all your guns, and XP, to attempt to get even more guns and add-ons. After getting to the Elite Rank for the 5th time, you unlock the Phaeril Armor, that gives you the ability to rewind several minutes, and slow time in the present.

I've never played fallout 3 but id probaly call it somethin zombie like Dead Shift or Zombie City but not as cheesy

I was thinking of like an abandoned city(Basiclly New York). And a few teens come back from summer vacation and see the city vacant. It turns out everyone turned into a monster. So u can choose from 5 players.

A HOT girl thats is so brave
A Muscle dude thats really strong
A girl thats fast
A Guy that jams rock!
and Im not sure.

This game also will have tons of weapons and armor and your normal day stuff. Oh Also u have an Iphone 3g to communicate with ur pals if u or they are caught in trouble.

I would like to see a GTA mmo, I know the guys who made crackdown are working on one (ABP or something).

- Dynamic Factions: Alliances can be formed/ broken between the various factions, based on players actions. Benefits from having certain alliances with NPC factions ( FBI etc)
- Ability to perform any crime (robbery/ drug dealing/ pimping/ smuggling/ kidnapping etc)
- NPC civilians
- Form your own sub-gang and fight to the top.
- Fight to defend or expand your gangs empire.
- Huge complex instances which need many class types to pull off (Banks/ Subways etc)
- Jail - a punishment for being captured, which is a open instance in which players have to break out of.

u pretty much sumed it up now if u can make it that would be awesome

The game I would create would be more akin to Half-Life rather than GTA (I personally don't like crime games).

Name: Miljornir (purposeful screwup of Thor's Hammer)
Genre: First-person action adventure

Story: Players assume the role of Gabriel Marcus, a local demolition man. His city is caught up in a war between an organization that call themselves NEO (New World Order with the W turned sideways) and a rebel group called Miljornir. Gabriel's house is blown up, and he grabs a hammer to join the fighting. Soon, he is recruited by Miljornir to be part of their guerrilla warfare division. (I don't want to give away the other half of the story, but NEO is under command of a fallen archangel and it turns from rebel story to zombie apocalypse. Oops, I just gave it away).

Gameplay: Most of the game revolves going into an enemy building and solving (aka smashing) puzzles with your hammer. You are also given a firearm before each mission that you use to fight enemies that come up. When this happens, the firearm automatically comes up rather than have you fumble with changing from hammer to shotgun/rifle/grenade launcher/etc. The same game mechanics apply in the second half of the game.

Enemies: Surprisingly, bosses are rare and are replaced with harder puzzles than through the rest of the mission. The basic enemies walk (or occasionally swarm) the halls and the battlefields. They mostly consist of soldiers (or zombies...) with various weapons and armour levels.

Bosses: When bosses do appear, they are usually after a level consisting of battles rather than puzzles. They range from superpowered machines, exceptional fighters, and major mobs of enemies to planes, ships, and swordsmen.

Yeah, I know that the shift from rebellion to zombie-apocalypse-with-archangel seems strange (and usually doesn't work), but I like it and that would be my dream game.

I just want a final fantasy game where you can load your saves from any of the previous games and choose a team of two, equip them and duel someone else's team of two, and you can take one from one game and one from another, i'd love to see Steiner and Barret vs Squall and Yuffie, and I haven't got a clue why.
