| I remeber back in the 90s when i would go to the arcades a lot when i was on holiday to play videogames, Time Crisis, House of the Dead, Tekken and those cool racing games were always my top priority to go on. What are your arcade experiences? and do you think arcades are dying due to the increased popularity in consoles and the next gen games? | |

| Sadly I think in the near future we are not going to have arcades. My city just got a new arcade so hopefully it stays. It just doesn't make sense to go out and spend like 10 bucks at the arcade when you have a 400 gaming system at home. The only real popular ones at my arcade are the racing ones, DDR, airhockey and some shooters. | |

| I would have to say yes. I think the only ones that are popular are the DDR ones. | |

| No their not. People still love and prefer to play Fighting games on the arcades, which is the only reason to go back there. | |

| Only arcades around here have gocarts, putt putt golf or bating cages with them. They are also attached to some kind of resturant. | |

| ^^^^^^ And thats exactly the problem. People are spending money that they think they shouldn't be on the arcades. Its fun if your out with some friends or something like that or with family, Or else its just not worth the time | |

| As long as there is a jingle in a pocket and high scores to be beaten... Arcades will live on.. | |
