Fallout 3 or Left 4 Dead?

Heya, i want to get a new game soon for my PC and i'm really unsure between Left 4 Dead or Fallout 3, I've heard both games are very good and they both seem excellent, i'm a bit unsure about Left 4 Dead because it kind of reminds of a Quake style game where you literally just run and around shoot which i'm fine with that but is there more depth to it? I've seen Fallout 3 in action and it looks very deep and promising. Though i like Left 4 Deads idea of a good cooperative multiplayer.
Does anyone have any suggestions i'm really unsure on which one to get?

only get fallout if you have ALOT of free time, it takes forever its to big for my liking

Fallout 3, will last you a LONG time and its just epic.

Now that the mod community is in full swing the game will last a long time.

Left 4 dead, This game lasts forever... You Just can't stop playing it. And fallout 3, Either you get bored after an hour and a half or you enjoy it, you finish it and then... nothing.... So there are 2 complete opposit.. But for me its left for dead, Infinite time of fun.

Fallout 3 lasts as long as you want really, you can explore or follow the main quest line. I was about 40 hours in, and barely scratched the surface of the main quest.

Fallout 3 disappointed me. SO much hype over it and it's just Oblivion but with guns. I liked it at the beginning but it got boring. Listening to someone go on and on then just walking for hours trying to get to unexplored areas, doing something simple, then going all the way back.

I admit, you can do a few cool things in the game, but I honestly cannot get into it. I don't see what the hype is about. I'm just glad I pirated the game first before buying it. I'll probably pick it up for the Xbox360 once the price goes down. But Left 4 Dead is worth the money, if you ask me.

But like that one guy said, basically it's a choice between a Single Player RPG or a Multiplayer Zombie Survival Game.

Well it depends..... I have fallout 3 for my ps3 and i have alot of fun with it, But once you start doing tons of things and losing karma It gets boring and im going to say it gets hard. But I don't have left 4 dead Soooo i could not give A Players opinion.

I just beat fallout 3, and ive only had it for 2 days:/ WITH school lol

Personally though, i liked fallout 3 better then l4d, once you play each level once, it gets repetitive, at least with fallout 3, if you wanna do all the side quests, its up to 100 hour long gameplay

I really dont know though, i was dissapointed when it ended.. now i have nothing else to do

Fallout 3 if your looking for an AMAZING single player campaign, left 4 dead if your looking for some repetitive, but infinite online lol

L4D is repatative...

eh fallout 3 was a major let down for me, the graphics of it are ugly. the game play got boring for me real fast. but left 4 dead looks great and i will be picking it up and soon as it becomes avail be in stock at the nearest sotre

For some reason, I don't think fallout 3 was as good as everyone was saying about it. I have played a good 10 hours into it, but then found myself getting bored and going back to oblivion. Personally I think the guns were a nice addition but there were just a few minor things that bugged me when comparing it to oblivion. I have not played left for dead yet, but will soon. My friends say its good fun, but difficult.

Hate fallout 3, love L4D. Reason, hate how you can't play after ending plus the ending sucks monkey balls. The whole point of side quests is to get more experience for the main quest which is short as hell. Plus I thought Oblivion had nicer graphics then that peice of poo.

I would say that both games are very good in their class.

My choice would be Left 4 Dead... Because that's the type of game i like!
It's a very VERY fun game to play with friends and the co-op is really good.
If your team don't work together, just forget it! You'll be pwnd

both very good games, although fallout is more of an in depth adventure where as left 4 dead is a shoot 'em up type. I don't care for FPS although killing zombies is ridiculously fun. I love both games but I don't think you can compare the two, the differ way too much.

Left 4 Dead is a joke.. Get Fallout 3.

well left 4 deads short but good online and a lot of fun
and fallout 3 long and well detailed
it depends on how long you wanna play a game for if you have a lot of time to kill get fallout. but if you have lots of mates online and just want to have fun killing zombes get left 4 dead.
OR just get both!

Left 4 Dead. The combat sucks in Fallout 3, so unrealistic for you to be able to freeze frame before every time you shoot and aim for someone's head every single time. Very boring.

Left 4 Dead has amazing multi player mode and is always fast moving with a lot of action.

Just to tell you, Left 4 dead combat is even more unrealistic.. xD Fallout 3 was freezing time.. And left 4 dead is infinite ammo for pistol, See other survivors through walls, Passing right through them... But its not the realism of a game that makes it good, its the content. Fallout 3 was cool and unrealisticly nice, Just like left 4 dead.

I'd suggest left 4 dead because its way more play time than fallout3 ( had 28 hours fallout3, and about 61hours of l4d )

If you have plenty of buds to play with, Left 4 Dead. I've had so much fun with this game, it's truly unbelievable.
