If we keep posting this place will at least have a couple people that stay put, I think people come here once or twice to get help and then they go on about there bussiness. One stop shop this place is turning into! lol!

Well Rey those big hype games are released now (KZ2, RE5, SF4) so I would suspect it would be more varied now. Smile

Either way it's good that he's going to mention it in a video again, now all we need is some active moderators (either the old ones come back, or I nominate Rey and me for the position) Smile

I just had a look at the forum provider page (forumotion.com for anyone interested) and the features seem very good to me. So I really think someone should be appointed as extra admin with permissions to change things around on the forum because it doesn't seem like DS is really up for all that work. Right now this is just a forum without anything happening at all, so it's bound to just die out eventually.

We really need to keep the fresh content coming through various activities and other various side-features. For example some sort of RPG mod would be nice to have. A portal with some custom pages (integrate DS's latest video somewhere in there?!), contests, etc.

Just to name a few things that would really help the forum advance and keep the community intact, and grow over time.

Other than that, I actually have considerable experience with being admin/mod or leading online communities in general. Though I suggest we don't jump to action right away. Let's wait and see what DS is planning first, he did say he's going to plug this on his next vid so who knows, he may just come back and at least pass leadership on to someone if he's not interested in it himself. Smile

If nothing gets better, we can look into making a new forum.

I agree with Psoewish, But I think now matter if DS does mention this forum because I think that people will just come when he mentions it and then it will die out again because people come here for support on something they need help with then the go about there business. Those that stick around or post regularly I think just want to help those that stop by or socialize.
