Off Topic - How many Threads can someone create in such a small time period..

On Topic - Alright, I've thought about this many a times but here's my idea.

This game would be either a Shooter or an RPG. So basically You're a kid and the world is in chaos with war and such, but then an angel comes down and grants you powers in which you can control people's minds, and let them do in natural things (Such as, Hadoken, Flash kick, Pull of their arm and use their legs to launch it at someone). And the angel also gives you power in which you can create things that you've seen via magic for a certain period of time.

Like, by bringing your arms together and then moving them far apart in an arc going upwards creates a bow, and you can launch explosive arrows, or you could create a black hole which sucks people in and then you could create a giant pool of water for them to drown into. The game would be controlled (Intended for Xbox 360, or PS3) that you would use the nubs as your arms and all the other buttons as hot keys. So for like the bow you'd push both together and then arc one of them down left, and one down right.

Anyway, the story which would slowly evolve in you killing many demons who think you're just some innatural being, but then you realize that the Government was controlling everything the whole time, and you find out that an angel didn't give you powers to destroy, and this game would feature many a plot twists, and back stabbing

But anyways.. story doesn't matter on this one. Think of..

New Ninja Gaiden Gameplay + Strider's Uber Sword + Beat Boss, get weapon MegaMan style + Soul Reaver kind of Exploring.

Id make an FPS but with total access, not like in some games where you see a building and you cant go in it. Kind of like a sandbox style game, not like farcry 2. Id change the vehicle view since i dislike first person driving(is that right? first person driving). But the multiplayer maps would be big. I want a game with total freedom, where you can enter any building to snipe, hide, use as a fortress whatever. Maybe MAG would be like this who knows.

I would probably create a MMO-FPS, with a persistent world and where battles have an actual effect on the game world. Or an RPG, based in medieval times (realisitic) i can see it now " you got the plague - you are dead" ausome!

I would ceate a badass Star Wars game similar to Kotor 1-2. But I would have the time period after the movies. But the plot would be sweet.

Well My game idea would be pretty good its gta style (freeroaming) sandbox game but it is an MMORPG


-Story
Its a zombie apocalypse and you have to do only one thing. Survive.

-Character
Basically you create a custom character and choose a job class and there would be many different job classes such as doctors or police officers many different variations like mechanics could fix cars and drive them to destinations(Cars would eventually break down if too many zombies are hit) and certain job classes could offer services like doctors can heal playera for alot more HP than a player can heal himself (say a player uses pain killers and gains 20HP if a doctor heals him he will gain 40HP)and police officers can be payed for protection and certain jobs have better luck finding items like lawyers are a little better at finding money

-Gameplay
Basically there would be a city and on the outskirts of town would be the outpost now the outpost can be attacked by zombies and if so players in the party (up to 12 players a party) have to work together to stop it. There are 3 different areas to protect the outpost from the Rooftops the underground parking lot and the main gate. if zombies break in the main lobby where all players (not just ones) in your party are seen becomes infected until players can rebuild the main gate's barricade and barricade the underground parking lot and the roof. Players can also open up shops if they pay a certain amount of money (probably 5000$) and each shop sells items collected on missions and their will be a search menu that will be extremely advanced so when you search for something you get a list of options from cheapest to highest price. or lowest quality weapon to highest.and players will each have their own individual rooms they can decorate any way they want and store items, money and weapons and any other things, (if a shop upgrade is purchased then the room will expand and an extra room will be added for the shop and everyone can enter your room to buy stuff or just admire the decorations. It turns from daylight to nightime every half hour. Zombies are stronger at night.

-City
To get money you have to go into the city and all buildings are opened. money is found by killing zombies the harder the zombie the more money given. there will be many special areas like a casino and a pool hall, bowling alley an alot more places for recreation scattered around the city. there will also be the official game shops where weapons and health can be bought (but the stronger meds and weps have to be found or bought in a shop) items not wanted can be sold in the shops and there will be many different shops such as weapon shop, (the hospital will sell meds), clothes shop, decorating shops(for rooms) and weapon upgrade shop.

-Quickjump Menu
What the quickjump menu does is if you have been to a special area such as the casino or the bowling alley instead of having to fight through to get there you can just the menu to jump to that area without having to fight zombies

-Camera
you are able to choose between 1st and 3rd person all depends on your liking

-Weapons
There will be a large assortment of weapons (melee, handguns,sub-machine guns,shotguns,rifles,longrange rifles,and normal machine guns, explosives (and mounted turrets at main gate) There will be many weapons in each class (i forgot to mention that Ammo can be found or bought at player shops and official shops) Weapons can also be upgraded to have alot of different things like bigger ammo clip or laser sight, many different things. The more upgrades the more the weapon is worth but a weapon can be damaged if upgrade fails and cannot be used anymore so upgrade at your own risk.

-Leveling up
When a player levels up then his stats are increased all players start off with only a melee weapon and cannot use a gun until stats reach a certain point. each gun requires a higher stat (say you had a glock and wanted to upgrade to a deagle you would need to level up until you reach the stat requirement) also certain body armor requires a certain stat level (like say you had a total of 19 in body armor but you wanted a new one that required 22 in body armor you need to level up) Armors can also be upgrade and attachments can be added to them

-Zombies
Their are the normal class zombies then their are the crawling zombies(No Legs). The Runners (outrun you and are deadly if not killed quickly), then the hunter(l4d Zombie). There is the tank(l4d zombie), The Dog zombie(mutated dog zombie extremely fast),The Child zombie(Can let out a screech that will stun players), Constrictor(l4d's smoker), The Blind zombie(this zombie is blind and use smell and sound to locate players and can spit liquid which completely blinds a player temporarily and attracts zombies) The Boomer(l4d Zombie) The Silent Killer(This zombie can crawl on ceilings and follow a player without letting a sound out)

-Death
If you die you can wait for a doctor in your party to revive you or respawn but if you respawn all money being carried is lost. But if other players have not looted your body you can go back and get your money

-Other
Players can trade with each other (items,ammo, etc.) In the casino rewards can be won but casino rewards CANNOT be traded. There are things called Zombie rush that will happen at a random time once every 3 hours everyday where zombies begin rushing like crazy it only last for 10 minutes and players must barricade themselves in a building. Players can build barricades. only certain job classes can use certain items

It would be based around "The Sims" and "GTA4" but you would have a first person veiw. And for the city you live in they could take pictures of various city's and ajust them into the game. You could catch a plane to get from country to country and have a wanted agenst your name if youve comitted crimes.

MASSIVE GAME! well, this isnt impossible, they could put all the data on a server and then you connect to the server to dl to your pc.

A game that is as big as usa, so if you wanted to, you could drive from Seattle to LA on real roads and it would take real time. Also make it a mmorpg style game like wow, people will be walking around doing there stuff too. Ti would take a hella long time to develop, but it would be truly epic.

i agree but they would need to put this on a blue-ray they wouldnt be able to fit it on a dvd, i always thought of this but it would be hardd to do, and i would rather a gta4 style camra for this type of game

Well my idea is a combination of a few FPS shooters and films

The human race has evolved into super soldiers. They are exremely inteligent and their body has adapted to the ways of life of war. Their skin is somewhat bullet proof but has limits. There weapons is the most destructive and powerful of all time. Their past has been conquered by war. they have fought battles with the bugs like the bugs in the film "Starship Troopers" they won the war between them. Then they fought aliens and predators from the film sequel. They overcame the war with the dreaded chimera as in the creatures from "Resistance1 and 2". The humans have become so inteligent that they can now clone and control these creatures they have conquered . They have identified the area in the brain which trigers the will to fight and who to fight against. Its kind of a half artificial brain so to speak. The humans have also created an army of artifical soldiers or robots just like , you guessed it from terminator.

Any way they explore the universe looking for new worlds . If the planet is inhabitanted already and the dominant natives have the inteligence to communicate the humans send a message saying let us take over some of the planet indepentantly and we will leave the rest to the rest of you. If the creatures of the planet dont agree the humans simply move in and destroy them! They have an army of huge resource and power. Its called UUAO (United Universal Army of Organisms). They are all under the comand of the dominant humans. The army has overcome the vast dangers of space travel and it has now become a common comodity of the lives of humans just like driving a car nowadays.

When a planet is colonised the different species are organised into sections . These sections are divided into six different areas just like a hexagon. In the middle is a plantation base in which factories are built , breathing grounds for the organic side of the army , living quarters for humans like hostpitals , restaurants , leisure facilities etc. Thats in the centre of the hexagon. On the outside lies the militarised area of the hexagon. There are 100s of bases scaterred around the area. Hexagons can vary in size from 5 miles wide to 20 miles wide. There is no more than 500 miles between these hexagons when colonising planets , this for security reasons during war. The common and most powerful enemy , the UUAO is now at war with are the Helghast from Killzone. You are a human at the start of this epic take over of the universe . You first fight the bugs on their home planet like in the film then fight the aliens and predators. A biological experiment goes horribly wrong then the chimera are created but are quickly under control. You are in all of these wars between the different enemies. You go on patroling missions in hostile planets. take the control of elite space fighters and bomb enemy targets! Drive the enemy back with the almost invincible human army tank. Its only weakness is being outnumbered 50:1 by enemy tanks or aircraft. The UUAO airforce is simply superior to any enemy airforce. As You progress through the game you can be a bug , alien , predator , chimera or a machine all with their own advantages and disadvantages even the humans have a weakness! The main reason why the UUAO wins their battles are because of good inteligence. They use a vast amount of satilittes which are heavily guarded with space mines and their own personal airforce! They can also bomb enemy targets and give ground support. Everybody/thing knows what ever everyone/thing knows . All inteligence is given to all allies. Humans use the artifical area of their allies brain to give them information on friendly positions and enemy positions and what is their own objective. While humans use a portable HUD on their helmets which shows everything a human soldier needs to know there and then.

This is just a brief look at my idea of the storyline for this game. It would be called "The War of All Wars" Any good furhter ideas will be useful and appreciated
