how long does it take for someone to fall in love?

how long do you think it takes, and how to you distinguish between true love and atraction

It depends who you are.
Some people can get attached really easily..
Some people not so fast ..
The way you can tell the deference between is if you feel that amazing warm feeling every time your around them.
You cant just always be looking at her body and thinking of him/her naked.
thats lust..
You can have true love and attraction..
lust is horrible its hard to explain.
just don't ever go out with someone because of the looks.

well i dont know what i feel, i trust more than alot of people, shes perfect for me and i think im falling in love, its just happening so fast, we were friends for over a year before we started dating, i do know it gos beyond lust, shes good looking but thats just a bonus as far as im concered, also unlike so many of my friends we can just sit and talk for hours, i know its real but somtimes it feels to good to be true

should i tell her how i feel, i dont want to scare her away though thats the thing im afriad of.

There are so many types of love.

Love you can only show towards a family member,
Love you can only show towards a sexual partner,
Even love for a best friend, or your cat.

It's honestly hard to gauge something as unpredictable as love.

Take it all in stride, don't force it. The most powerful thing on this planet is Love. It's the one thing that can build and destroy.
