Don't do that. Never ask her friends. Girls TALK. About everything. if you ask one friend it will eventually get to the girl you like. After she finds out it will seem like a bunch of baby stuff "does she like me" "He doesn't like me". That will lead to her thinking you have no confidence.
Although I am pretty sure that she likes you no matter what. But please don't ask her friends.
as for the asking her out part. You will be able to tell if she is into you or if she is trying to make your friend jealous.
Ask her out. If you and her talk and she is telling you stuff that you think is private and she really cares about you, then she probably digs you. If she is always mentioning you friend and Sh*t then she is probably using you.
Of course you will know better than any of us.
