First of all a lot of people thing Family Guy is a rip-off of The Simspons. Sure They have a family and a dog.

I think Family Guy is way funnier and better to watch

I think both shows are good. It's hard to say one is better then the other.

I honestly can't stand The Simpsons. I don't know what it is about it that makes me dislike it, though. I just cannot get into it.
Family Guy, I can stand watching. But it's not all that funny anymore. They've seem to be doing similar jokes over and over now.

i grew up watching the simpsons but as i got older the jokes seem more funny on family guy

Just because both shows include families and they're both animated, doesn't mean Family Guy is a ripoff.
Simpsons TRY to come up with a story while Family Guy is abunch of jokes slapt together.
The creators of Family Guy don't deny that and they don't care so Family Guy it is.

The dogs name is Santas little helper.
And i like them equal...The Simpsons is just a good show that you shouldn't compain about, just watch it...Family Guy on the other hand is really stupid/funny at the same time...they say a lot of jokes that you shouldn't laugh at but you do anyway.

The Simmons was great because when the show first came out, it was like a whole new type of show. Other than King of the Hill, there wasn't much of that kind of TV Shows.
Family Guy though I think is more consistently funny, more crude and what not, but still makes you laugh more.

Love simpsons! but family guy is mad funny too. But Simpsons is much smarter humor. Family guy is like The simpsons on drugs! Just freeked out and u never know whats gonna happen.
