Xbox 360 vs. PS3

Well my brother just recently bought a PS3 and I have a Xbox 360. I just want to point out that Xbox Live is better than PSN. I was playing CoD: WaW and I seriously couldn't get into a good server. Either it lags out, I lose connection, or I time out. I know everyone is going to call me a "Fan Boy" but seriously I don't care.

Yeah thats true but i still like my ps3 . But dont know i never have any trouble getting into good servers.

Because I'm tired of douchebags on this site calling people fan boys. Because most of the dudes on this site is a PS3 fan boy.

I think the reason people call you a fanboy is because you don't point out the 360's problems, you barely give arguments worth discussing and you try too hard to just point out that you think the 360 > PS3.

I, personally, don't care. If you're satisfied with the 360, good for you. If you don't like the PS3, we don't care, stop bringing it up.. The more you do, the more you seem like a fanboy.

Oh sh!t I can name a sh!t load of problems with the Xbox.

I have yet to see you name any. Everytime when it's "360 or PS3?" you target the goods of the 360 and the bads of the PS3. You don't even make the bads sound bad.. that's just.. bad.. : s

Seriously though, there is only one system that's the most awesome of them all, and I'll tell you which one it is.

The one you personally prefer to play the most. Yes, that's all there is to it. You may totally love everything about the 360, but that doesn't mean the entire world shares that opinion with you, and we all know that when it comes to consoles, it will always turn out into a flamewar between fanboys.

You just came on here posting "I just want to point out that ..." and apparently somehow expecting everyone to suddenly "see the light" or something.

Anyway, I hope this thread gets locked soon as it'll turn out into a flamewar anyway.

All i know is...i got a PS3 because if i got a 360 it would break so why bother?

By the way, i never have trouble getting into servers. PSN works great for me.

Actually with all the features the PS3 already has. With the number of things you would have to buy to make the two consoles even. Would end with you paying almost one hundred USD more for the Xbox 360. Not to mention annual fees...

However aside from that. The statement I like to make is that all people who get all flustrated over something such as someone's gaming preference. If you haven't noticed. Thats all it is.... So to label the PS3 wins at games or the Xbox 360's controller is better... Is inaccurate. However not wrong, because its from your point of view that you see things. You likes what you likes.

Personally I don't own a Xbox 360 for a multitude of reasons. Which all boil down to a financial source. I enjoy my PS3. Yet I'd like to say. It isn't without sin. So toss your stones. It like most wireless devices drops/ loses signal. Maybe not frequently. Yet when it does happen it annoys.

im happy with my ps3, games are good i cant watch movies, store lots of content and about the controller, rumble doesnt really matter to me, if i want rumble ill get a dualshock 3. the only difference is the size you still press the same buttons. but still i prefer the ps3. a friend of mine recently got the rrod and has been waiting for his box to arrive for weeks now.

why get both if some 360 exclusives are available for pc and ps3 arent you just need a pc that can handle the games. like you "super cool" l4d which in my opinion could have been better i mean 4 pplz max wtf well maybe 360 owners like less people but for me the more the better

my roommate has the xbox 360 and i have the ps3

I dont really play his xbox and he dont play my ps3. that just the way it is, the reason is just come down to the controllers i dont care for his controller and he dont care for my. i have play with him, when he needed help on gears of war and i have to say i had fun playing the game with him and he is going to buy god of war 3 to play on my ps3 cause he really likes that game. and come to think of it i really like his other game called the crack down and i hope they make a part 2 of it.

and yeah we do make joke at each other about the consoles but it is all in good fun i did try his xbox live and i guess i am not use to it cause i didnt really care for it but i did see some cool features on there that i wish the psn would get but other than that i really enjoy my internet brower and the fact i can use other hardware on the ps3. i guess those are just minor things cause my roommate does not even mention or complain about it. and you cant sell him a ps3 if the world dependant on it. lol its just not his thing. and he did get the red ring of death and still stand by xbox 360.

in case you were wondering he upgraded his 360 to a elite and give me his old one. now i am going to try to get it fix and go out and buy crack down.

L4D is a really fun game but you need people you actually know to have a good game. Because 90% of the online players on the game are retarded.

Another reason why I love the PS3.. they can shut up online..

Another thing I noticed about PSN is the mics. I don't have a mic so I only hear the people on my tv but it sounds kinda... cracky is the word that might discribe it. But if I had the mic would the voices sound better?

Some would say yes but I don't care, I pretty much want them to shut up..

When you asked, about how people sound with the mics, on the psn. it all depends on what kind of blue tooth you use well i have three blue tooth, and the eye which as a mic on too. the first brand is Jabra it came with Warhawk and i enjoyed it, i heard everybody crytal clear, but poeple did tell me that my mic sounds funny than i have a samsung that i use for my cell phone its the kind that sticks in your ear with no hook so it was not ideal for long term use but people did say that i sound a lot better on it. both of these bluetooth you can kind hear a humming sound but the samsung was the better one but i never notice it until i used this next one it is the playstation 3 bluetooth headset it is great for the ps3 cause it has system display which show speaker volume, charge level plus it has a mute button noise cancellation and has this cool looking stand that looks nice next to the ps3 this is the best one i ever had and at 50 bucks its a great deal will work on your cell phone too but not all the features will work with it

I have a question about the PS3. Why do you have to spend the extra $100-200(how ever much it is) to play PS1 and PS2 games? Why couldn't they put this feature on all the PS3s?
