What's everyones favorite Final Fantasy? And what do you like about it?

well ff10 was my favroite cuz of the story, and the amount of stuff to keep you busy.
i managed to fill the sphere grid with every charcter

Crisis Core was the only one I enjoyed.

as for gameplay i like 12 too but the story was so weak and confusing it took away a lot

Yeah 10 was also my favorite. But I like number 9 also.

My favourite Final Fantasy is just about Final Fantasy 7 as it was my first FF and i found it to be a very deep and engrossing game and the death of aries was like shocking back in those days, i have experienced FF8, FF10, FF12 and FF: Crisis Core as well, i love them all but the originality and epicness of FF 7 just about makes it my favurite.

i have played ff 8, 10, 10-2, and 12 and i must say ff8 is my favorite cause of the story line is EPIC!

No, it's a prequel. It's an Action-RPG aswell.

hands down FF VIII
VII was good and all but i find it very overrated, although if they remade it I would be very interested.
Final Fantasy VIII because of Squall being such a BA as well as the GF's and Angelo the dog is the man.
also one of my favorite story lines of all time.

Amount of time put into a FF game? Mine would be FFXI.

Story and gameplay wise I loved tactics, the story seems kind of odd but they pulled it off and they did it well. Gameplay wise what can be said? The battle system takes a little time to get use to but overall it works really well after you learn how to play and position your units.

Spoony was the only FF fan I know that didn't like FF8.

I've always wanted to play FF9, trouble was it came out when the PS2 was coming out so people wanted to buy PS2 games, the same problem with FF12 is that PS3 was out so people focused on those next generation games.
